Role Overview
The Sales Executive is responsible for managing customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships, and driving revenue growth through both new and existing applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer retention while continuously identifying improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Conduct regular business reviews and provide service reports
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service calls
- Deliver high-touch customer engagement through meetings and site visits
- Identify and resolve operational or application issues
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
- Propose innovative solutions, including chemical and digital applications
- Support customers with process optimization and performance enhancements
- Deliver measurable value through ongoing improvement projects
Account Growth
- Achieve annual sales targets through expansion of existing business and new applications
- Identify opportunities to increase volume and improve application performance
- Collaborate with internal leadership to target and win new business opportunities
Reporting & Technical Support
- Prepare service reports, performance summaries, and account updates
- Conduct application testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers
- Maintain and support on-site equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field)
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in sales or account management
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing accounts
- Experience in chemical, industrial, or process-related industries preferred
- Strong understanding of business and financial concepts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze data and identify performance improvement opportunities
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites
