Architectural Job Captain
My client is hiring a Job Captain to support the delivery of K-12 educational architecture projects in their Laguna Hills, CA office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical execution, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking to grow under the guidance of experienced project leaders.
This position involves supporting project managers and principal architects, producing construction documents, and coordinating with internal teams and consultants.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers and Principal Architects across multiple K-12 projects
- Produce technical drawings using BIM and 2D CAD tools in alignment with office standards
- Receive mentorship and direction from senior staff while contributing to project execution
- Track communications and follow up with team members and consultants
- Support day-to-day project coordination and documentation
- Perform general office duties related to architectural production
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in architectural construction documentation (K-12 experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture preferred but not required
- Proficient in Revit, 2D CAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
