Assistant Superintendent

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Superintendent to support the successful construction and operation of commercial-scale solar farm projects. This role works closely with the Site Superintendent to manage daily on-site activities, ensure safety and quality compliance, and maintain accurate project documentation. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities in coordination with the Site Superintendent.
• Monitor daily site operations, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain SWPPP compliance, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Support quality control efforts by inspecting workmanship and verifying compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate records in Procore, including daily logs, safety documentation, and subcontractor reports.
• Upload site photos, track manpower, and assist with as-built drawings and redlines.
• Promote a culture of safety by participating in toolbox talks and collecting required certifications.
• Assist with procurement of tools and materials, and coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in large-scale construction; solar experience preferred.
• OSHA 10, SWPPP, CPR/First Aid certifications required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in varying weather conditions.
