Aviation Project Engineer
This firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aviation Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in either Dallas or Houston, TX. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer with a passion for aviation and a proven track record in design and project management. You will lead and manage aviation design projects from conception to completion, develop and review engineering plans and specifications, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Engineering:
- Create and review detailed engineering plans and specifications.
- Use design software tools like AutoCAD and Revit.
- Conduct analyses to ensure structural integrity and safety.
Project Management:
- Oversee project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor expenses and adjust as necessary.
- Prepare and present project status reports.
Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide expert advice on design and engineering matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in aviation engineering with hands-on design and project management experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
