Business Development Manager
Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will lead initiatives to introduce and implement decentralized infrastructure solutions across Japan. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and project execution in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. You will play a key role in shaping new business models and driving adoption of technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with local governments, private enterprises, and strategic partners
- Lead proposal development and manage end-to-end project implementation
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, finance, legal, product) to ensure successful delivery
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product and service improvements
- Design scalable business schemes and standardization strategies
- Navigate and resolve challenges in fast-evolving environments while maintaining stakeholder trust.
- Lead business development for water products.
- Build relationships with local governments and private sector
- Manage projects from proposal to implementation
- Reflect user feedback into product development

Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development/project management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of finance, legal, and technical coordination
- Passion for social and regional issues
- N2 Japanese and above/Business level English
Preferred:
- Experience working with government agencies
- Knowledge of water treatment, infrastructure, or engineering
