About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead market expansion efforts in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar mounting systems and a proven track record in sales and client relationship management within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar PV mounting structure market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, developers, distributors, and installers.
- Lead the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and strategic plans for market growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the solar industry, preferably with mounting systems.
- Strong network within the Australian solar market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel as needed.
