Overview: A leading regional provider of industrial and commercial water treatment solutions is seeking a Water Treatment Sales Engineer to support business development and client service efforts. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about technical sales, customer service, and sustainable water management.
Role Summary: The Water Treatment Sales Engineer will manage a designated territory, focusing on maintaining existing client relationships and generating new business. The position involves both service and sales responsibilities, including:
- Conducting routine service visits for water testing, equipment inspections, and inventory management.
- Collaborating with facility personnel to ensure optimal system performance.
- Developing new accounts through prospecting, quoting, and closing sales.
- Promoting chemical treatment programs for steam boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Technology).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment or related industries (e.g., paper manufacturing, boiler systems, wastewater treatment).
- Proven success in B2B sales, especially in industrial or commercial sectors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Experience managing mid-sized to large accounts is a plus.
