The ideal candidate will bring strong structural design expertise, hands-on experience with transportation projects involving local agencies such as the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and a solid understanding of key structural components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other structural elements
- Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates in collaboration with design teams
- Perform engineering calculations for superstructure and substructure components
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple office locations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
- PE license required; SE license preferred or ability to obtain
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge and structural design
- Familiarity with transportation agency standards and inspection protocols
- Proficient in structural design codes (AASHTO, AISC, ACI) and analysis tools
- Skilled in engineering software for modeling, design, and CAD production
