CHICAGO | Transportation Project Manager
A nationally recognized, civil engineering firm is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager for their exceptional team in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage high-impact roadway and highway projects across Illinois, with the opportunity to gain hands on experience in various states across the U.S. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, client management experience, and a passion for making a difference in local to nationwide projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support transportation design efforts including roadway geometry, drainage, and utility coordination
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with IDOT and local agency standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop proposals and strategic project approaches
- Deliver civil engineering services to municipal, county, and state clients
- Manage Federal Aid project processes and documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project delivery from concept through construction
Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of Illinois, or surrounding states
- 7+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Project management experience with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) or the Illinois Tollway
- Software proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads Designer, & Geopak
Minimum Requirements:
- PE license in Illinois
- Project experience with IDOT or the Illinois Tollway Association
- Proficient in transportation design principles execution
