About the Role:
As a Project Coordinator / Planner, you will play a key role in the successful execution of civil construction projects, focusing on earthwork, grading, trenching, and excavation. You'll work closely with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Coordinate daily and weekly planning with field teams and subcontractors
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Assist in preparing work plans, logistics, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Support procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in civil construction, preferably in earthwork and excavation
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and planning software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
