Civil Project Manager
We are currently working closely with a mid-sized engineering consultancy who are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer with strong project management capabilities to lead and deliver major infrastructure and private development projects. This role involves technical leadership in road design, intersection analysis, drainage, and stormwater management, with full responsibility for project delivery from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects across roads, intersections, drainage, and stormwater systems.
- Oversee all phases of project delivery including planning, design, approvals, construction, and close-out.
- Provide technical expertise and quality assurance in engineering design and documentation.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and professional development.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Drive business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, client engagement, and identifying new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize 12d Model software for design and analysis tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and land development.
- Proven track record in project management and technical delivery.
- Strong experience in consultancy environments, working with both public and private sector clients.
- Proficiency in 12d Model, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership is highly desirable.
