Role Overview
As CTO, you will lead the company's technology strategy, product development, and R&D initiatives. You'll work closely with academic partners, clients, and internal teams to scale the PASS technology, expand its applications, and ensure the company remains at the forefront of seismic innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Oversee development and enhancement of monitoring systems.
- Lead R&D efforts in collaboration with university labs and industry partners.
- Manage technical teams across hardware, software, and data science.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance of all tech solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and guide strategic adoption.
- Represent the company in technical forums, conferences, and client engagements.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in geophysics, engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and product development.
- Strong background in seismic technologies, environmental monitoring, or geospatial analysis.
- Familiarity with CCS, geothermal, or civil engineering applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; Japanese proficiency is a strong advantage.
