Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support transportation design efforts including roadway geometry, drainage, and utility coordination.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with IDOT and local agency standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop proposals and strategic project approaches.
- Deliver civil engineering services to municipal, county, and state clients.
- Manage Federal Aid project processes and documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project delivery from concept through construction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois.
- Minimum of five years of experience in transportation engineering for municipal or highway agencies.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, and related tools.
- Strong understanding of IDOT and Illinois Tollway standards and procedures.
