Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support transportation design efforts including roadway geometry, drainage, and utility coordination.
  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with IDOT and local agency standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop proposals and strategic project approaches.
  • Deliver civil engineering services to municipal, county, and state clients.
  • Manage Federal Aid project processes and documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project delivery from concept through construction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in transportation engineering for municipal or highway agencies.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of IDOT and Illinois Tollway standards and procedures.
