We are currently working with several leading Infrastructure Advisory organisations who are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Director to lead and grow the Infrastructure Advisory practice. This role is pivotal in delivering strategic, commercial, and transaction advisory services across major infrastructure projects in transport, energy, utilities, and social infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a key revenue generator, responsible for winning work, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of commercial strategies for infrastructure projects, including PPPs, asset monetization, and procurement models.
  • Advise clients on transaction structuring, financial feasibility, and risk allocation.
  • Provide strategic input on market entry, investment decisions, and portfolio optimization.
  • Manage end-to-end transaction processes including due diligence, financial modeling, bid evaluation, and negotiations.
  • Support public and private sector clients in project financing, M&A, and capital raising initiatives.
  • Collaborate with legal, technical, and financial advisors to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Australia
  • Lead proposal development, pitch presentations, and client engagement strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, investors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and consultants, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to internal capability building and thought leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in infrastructure advisory, consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading complex infrastructure transactions and strategic advisory engagements.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure markets, financing structures, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Engineering, finance, economics, or business degree; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
