About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a team dedicated to delivering smart automation and robotic solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about innovation, safety, and continuous improvement in the automation and material handling industries.


Role Purpose

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for AGVs and automation solutions. You'll contribute to high-impact projects while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
  • Evaluate and recommend new electrical technologies.
  • Ensure designs align with internal standards and methodologies.
  • Review and validate your own designs for accuracy and completeness.

Electrical Design

  • Create electrical schematics and Bills of Materials for AGVs and control systems.
  • Improve and update existing designs.
  • Specify components, including motors and battery systems.
  • Analyze system performance and lifecycle expectations.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow established procedures and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach in all tasks.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

General Contributions

  • Stay current with internal policies and industry best practices.
  • Support safety and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/customers.

  • Internal: Engineering, Applications, Assembly, HR
  • External: Customers, Vendors

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant project engineering experience.

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical (Promis-E is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory and systems (AC/DC circuits, motors, transformers).
  • Experience with industrial circuits, control systems, and schematics.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and practical circuit design skills.

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and editorial skills.
  • Effective time management and creative problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
