Electrical Engineer (Water/Wastewater)
Our Client is a Internationally recognised environmental engineering firm that specialises in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities.
They are seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to support their team!
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimal supervision.
- Conduct load calculations and detailed conduit routing.
- Design motor control centers and switchgear.
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-10 years in Electrical Engineering.
- Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) registration required or ability to obtain upon employment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with power system applications, including:
- Short circuit current calculations
- Voltage drop analysis
- Harmonic distortion
- Power factor correction
- Field investigative and start-up experience.
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC standards.
- Knowledge of IEEE Color Book series.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting.
- Ability to interact positively with clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
