About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team in Charlotte, supporting a range of commercial and industrial projects with values up to $15 million. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact builds across the region, contributing to the success of complex electrical installations from preconstruction through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for electrical scopes on commercial and industrial projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Maintain and update estimating databases and tools.
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations with senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience estimating electrical projects, ideally in commercial and/or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines effectively.
