About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Environmental Engineer / Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions for environmentally sensitive projects. The ideal candidate will have existing project management experience and either hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license or be eligible and willing to obtain it.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental and civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Perform engineering design tasks including site grading, stormwater management, and pump/piping systems.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and permit applications.
- Conduct construction engineering inspections and provide documentation services.
- Execute environmental fieldwork such as monitoring, sampling, inspections, and assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Develop practical, cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proven project management and construction experience.
- PE license or ability and willingness to obtain licensure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
