One of my clients-a leading electrical contractor-has just announced a major 1-2 year project based in Northern NJ. They're urgently looking for a Field Project Manager to be on-site and lead the charge. While this is a project-specific role, the company has a long-term vision in mind for the right candidate. After this project wraps up, they plan to transition you to another project or into an office-based role, with full-time benefits included.
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Field Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a large-scale electrical construction project. This is a site-based role with long-term potential beyond the initial project. Full-time benefits are included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Manage project costs, documentation, and reporting
- Serve as primary contact for clients and stakeholders
- Ensure safety compliance and quality standards on-site
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Electrical license a plus
Work Environment:
- On-site presence required throughout project duration
- Office work and occasional travel to meetings
- Some evening/weekend work based on project needs
