Forensic/Valuation Partner
A boutique forensic accounting and litigation consulting firm is seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial Partner to join its leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to inherit a substantial book of business from a retiring partner, with a strong focus on matrimonial disputes, business valuations, and complex financial investigations.
About the Role
The incoming partner will be expected to:
- Generate a minimum of $300,000 in annual revenue through a combination of existing relationships and new business development.
- Take over a well-established client base in the matrimonial space, with the full support and mentorship of a senior partner planning for retirement.
- Lead high-profile engagements involving asset tracing, income analysis, and expert testimony.
- Collaborate with attorneys, mediators, and high-net-worth individuals in sensitive and complex matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of forensic accounting and litigation support engagements.
- Serve as an expert witness in court proceedings and depositions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with family law attorneys and referral sources.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience in forensic accounting, with a strong emphasis on matrimonial litigation.
- CPA required; ABV, CFF, or CVA credentials preferred.
- Proven ability to generate and sustain client relationships.
- Strong communication skills and courtroom presence.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative leadership style.
