The Global Director of Sales will leverage solution-selling methodology to guide their team in developing relationships with prospective clients in a way that differentiates the company's offerings from competitors.


Responsibilities:

  • Build, resource, and execute the strategy to double sales volume over the next five years.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the team to build efficient sales processes and channels that deliver exceptional growth and customer satisfaction, using KPIs to measure success.
  • Foster a culture of excellence across the organization by promoting shared learnings, transparency, and recognition.
  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers to expedite RFQs and contracts, ensuring specifications, terms, and conditions are met for firm order placement and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the sales team, including forecasting, goal-setting, and overall ownership of the Sales Department.
  • Drive lean internal processes to enhance the quality of customer interactions.
  • Cultivate and guide a Global Sales Team to market.
  • Develop regional, prospective, and client account business plans in partnership with Account Executives.
  • Lead generation activities including trade show and industry conference attendance, calling campaigns, and sales seminars in collaboration with marketing.
  • Present solutions to prospects via on-site and online meetings.
  • Provide detailed follow-up and coordinate with internal staff to ensure all client questions are addressed.
  • Negotiate commitments and secure agreements for services.
  • Continue developing product knowledge and industry expertise while mentoring staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in industrial water, wastewater, and/or offshore systems sales, including at least 10 years in outside sales roles.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, organizational, and talent development skills.
  • Proven success in Key Account management with EPCs, distribution, and direct sales.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% globally.
  • Preferred location is Tustin, California, but flexibility is available for the right candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience in direct and indirect sales in U.S. and international markets.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft tools.
