Governance and Audit Director
We're looking for a Governance and Audit Director to lead the development and execution of our client's risk and compliance framework. This role reports directly to the board member and works closely with the Audit & Risk Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage internal audit policies and strategies.
- Identify and assess risks, and report findings to leadership.
- Recommend actions to improve controls and reduce risks.
- Develop and enforce company-wide policies aligned with ethical standards.
- Ensure compliance with trade, anti-corruption, and anti-bribery regulations.
- Lead audits across finance, operations, and compliance.
- Review financial reports and ensure accurate group consolidation.
- Coordinate audit activities across departments.
- Provide training to promote compliance and ethical behavior.
What We're Looking For
- 10-15 years of internal audit experience in multinational companies, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA certification required.
- Strong knowledge of auditing, finance, and business operations.
- Experience in the energy or renewable energy sector is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Organized, independent, and detail-oriented.
- Able to handle complex problems and maintain confidentiality.
