Position Title: Hydraulic & Water Resources Engineer

Overview:
We're looking for an experienced civil engineer with a strong foundation in hydrology and hydraulics to lead water resource design and analysis for infrastructure projects across the Midwest. This role involves developing stormwater systems, performing hydraulic modeling, and ensuring environmental compliance for a variety of public and private sector initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate stormwater infrastructure including culverts, storm sewers, open channels, and detention/retention systems.
- Prepare stormwater management plans, erosion and sediment control strategies, and water quality BMPs in line with local and state regulations.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), StormCAD, PondPak, HY8, and OpenRoads Designer.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water resource solutions into broader infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in hydraulic and water resources engineering.
- Proficiency in modeling software and CAD-based design platforms.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks for stormwater and environmental design.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
