Mid- Level Water Resources Engineer

We are looking for a Professional Water Resources Engineer to join our clients' team in Eastern Idaho. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful water infrastructure projects in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. The firm has a strong regional presence and supports cross-office collaboration, providing a broad platform for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the planning, design, and construction of water resources projects, with a focus on irrigation infrastructure.
  • Typical projects include master planning, hydraulic modeling, and the design of pipelines, canals, pump stations, hydraulic structures, wells, small dams, and storage ponds.
  • Assist with business development by building client relationships and contributing to proposal preparation.
  • Develop scopes of work, contracts, and design budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, operators, regulatory and funding agencies, and contractors to meet project goals.
  • Participate in client and public meetings to communicate project details and gather input.
  • Conduct fieldwork such as construction observation, equipment monitoring, and site reconnaissance.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff including engineers-in-training, drafters, and field personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $94,000 - $135,000 annually, based on experience.
