Mid Level W/WW Engineer
Professional Civil Engineer with a focus on Water/Wastewater is needed to join a team in Southern Idaho. This position involves working on a variety of public infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, and general utility systems. The role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful community improvements while advancing your career in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the planning, design, permitting, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Prepare technical documents such as feasibility studies, engineering reports, cost estimates, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Support business development efforts by building client relationships and contributing to proposal development.
- Develop scopes of work, contracts, and budgets for engineering projects.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, funding sources, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Participate in client and public meetings to communicate project goals and progress.
- Conduct fieldwork including site visits and construction observation.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff including engineers-in-training, drafters, and field personnel.
- Manage multiple client relationships and deliver high-quality engineering services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- 5 to 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Solid technical background in civil infrastructure design.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $94,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience.
