O&M Readiness Manager

Job Summary:

The O&M Readiness Manager is responsible for ensuring that all operational and maintenance aspects of a project are fully prepared and aligned for a seamless transition from construction or commissioning to steady-state operations. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to develop and implement readiness plans, procedures, and systems that support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive O&M readiness plans aligned with project timelines and operational goals.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements are integrated into project design and execution.
  • Lead the development of O&M documentation, including procedures, manuals, and training materials.
  • Ensure the timely recruitment, on boarding, and training of operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Oversee the implementation of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and asset management strategies.
  • Facilitate readiness reviews, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Ensure spare parts, tools, and consumables are identified, procured, and available before handover.
  • Support the commissioning team in validating operational functionality and performance.
  • Act as the primary liaison between project delivery and operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth handover.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or project delivery roles, with at least 3 years in a readiness or transition management capacity.
  • Strong understanding of O&M principles, asset management, and reliability engineering.
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure, energy, utilities, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CMMS tools and project management software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
