Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead our water and infrastructure division across NSW. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in operations, manufacturing, and maintenance, who thrives in driving business growth and transformational change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage operations for water utilities and infrastructure projects across NSW
- Oversee the performance and output of a manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Drive business development efforts, including securing major projects and expanding market presence.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance, quality, and safety standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with councils, government bodies, and private clients to deliver tailored solutions.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives across operations and maintenance functions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of industry experience, with at least 6 years in water, infrastructure, manufacturing, and maintenance.
- Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale operations and teams.
- Strong track record in business growth and transformation.
- Experience working with major clients across mining, government and councils.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to lead change and drive operational excellence.
- Technical understanding of water systems, infrastructure, and manufacturing processes.
