A well-established and growing water treatment company is seeking a technically skilled and motivated engineer to join its Technical Services Team. Role Summary

The Pretreatment Application Engineer will play a key role in designing and supporting pretreatment systems, collaborating closely with Sales and Service teams to deliver tailored solutions. This position is primarily remote, with optional office-based work and occasional site visits within the region.


Key Responsibilities

Solutions Design & Quoting

  • Develop quotes for pretreatment systems, including parts and labor breakdowns
  • Collaborate with Sales to review and present solutions
  • Maintain organized documentation for project handoff
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate quoting
  • Support large-scope project quoting as needed

Technical Support

  • Provide phone-based technical support to field teams during site visits
  • Conduct site surveys and assist with custom solution design
  • Contribute to process improvements and team training initiatives
  • Deliver training sessions on pretreatment systems and tools

Help Desk Management

  • Manage incoming support tickets and route them appropriately
  • Resolve assigned tickets within defined service levels
  • Screen quote requests and escalate complex projects when necessary

Qualifications

  • Experience with Reverse Osmosis (RO), Water Softening, and Deionization systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management platforms
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with quoting tools and vendor coordination
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and training
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000-$115,000, based on experience
