Role Summary
The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and optimizing water treatment processes for industrial applications. This role involves working closely with project teams to develop technical solutions, support commissioning activities, and ensure systems meet performance and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop process designs and technical documentation for treatment systems
- Perform mass balance calculations, hydraulic modeling, and equipment sizing
- Support pilot testing, data analysis, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and project engineers
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, specifications, and client deliverables
- Provide technical support during construction, startup, and commissioning phases
- Troubleshoot process issues and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in water or wastewater treatment process design
- Familiarity with membrane technologies, biological treatment, and chemical dosing systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in process modeling software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in industrial sectors such as oil & gas, power, or manufacturing is a plus
