About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Licensed Project Architect to join our dynamic team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in architectural design, project management, and client engagement, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, documentation, and construction administration.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver innovative, functional, and sustainable design solutions.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Mentor junior architects and designers, fostering professional growth and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors during construction phases.
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect with active registration in South Carolina (NCARB certification preferred).
- 10+ years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software; familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in education, healthcare, senior living.
- LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
