Project Architect
An award-winning Architecture + Interiors firm local to Greater Boston is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join their Multi-Family and Commercial studio! Projects will include Multi-Family Residential, Mixed-use, Educational, Commercial, and even Community. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills, an ability to collaborate with Senior Project Managers and Principals to organize team members, deliver on project documentation and detailing, and act as a point of contact for clients. This role will also include construction administration.
Qualifications:
- Professional architecture degree (U.S.-accredited or equivalent)
- Architectural registration in Massachusetts preferred
- 8-12 years experience, ideally in multi-family, commercial, or institutional projects
- Strong Revit skills and knowledge of construction methods, detailing, and documentation
- Proven ability to manage teams, mentor staff, and coordinate with consultants
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple projects from concept through construction, ensuring design quality and alignment with firm standards
- Collaborate with senior staff to develop and refine design solutions
- Document existing conditions and translate schematic designs into Revit
- Produce and oversee design development and construction documents
- Coordinate with consultants and manufacturers for integrated documentation and product support
- Participate in construction administration, including RFIs, shop drawings, SKs, and site visits
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with codes and technical standards
- Manage schedules, budgets, staffing, and client communications throughout all phases
