Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will lead complex structural engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, and timely delivery. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer with strong leadership capabilities, deep technical knowledge, and a passion for mentoring and developing engineering teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, kickoff meetings, and scope alignment with clients and internal teams.
  • Define project phases, assign tasks, and manage schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee technical studies, preliminary analyses, and the development of design specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication and expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards throughout the design process.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams to maintain high-quality deliverables and meet milestone deadlines.
  • Monitor project financials, identify additional service opportunities, and support fee development.
  • Mentor junior engineers and project managers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Review RFIs, shop drawings, and erection plans during the construction administration phase.
  • Support business development by maintaining client relationships and attending industry events.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering project management.
