Project Manager
Company Overview
A prominent Singapore-based company known for its innovative and cost-effective water and wastewater treatment solutions is seeking a Project Manager. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong technical expertise in Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) systems. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, organization, direction, coordination, and control of all operations to achieve project objectives.
- Plan and prepare all project activities, including drawings, schedules, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise, including site-related problems.
- Ensure project execution meets cost, time, quality, and technical objectives, particularly for UPW and high-purity water systems.
- Enforce the implementation of the company's operational, quality, safety, and environmental policies within the project team.
- Liaise with colleagues, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Provide technical support and cost estimates for tender preparation, especially for UPW and water treatment scopes.
- Collaborate with the Operations Department on ISO audits and compliance.
- Lead testing and commissioning activities for UPW systems, ensuring performance meets stringent industry standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience within the wastewater or water treatment industry, with proven experience in UPW system design and execution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility, with the ability to manage project safety, schedules, and costs efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely delivery.
- A team player with intercultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of UPW system requirements and operational standards.
