Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controls Project Manager to lead and deliver automation and control systems projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in industrial control systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of control systems projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the design, programming, and commissioning of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and other control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within control systems or industrial automation.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, HMI, and industrial networking.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, water treatment, or building automation.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and control panel design.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity in industrial control systems.
