Project Manager
Are you a driven Project Manager with a passion for complex ground‑engineering challenges? Our client, a premier geotechnical contractor with a strong reputation across Northern California, is looking for a talented Project Manager to join their growing San Francisco team.
You'll be part of a firm known for delivering technically demanding deep foundation and excavation support projects - from drilled shafts and micropiles to shoring, soil nails, secant piles, and ground improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage geotechnical construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout.
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project controls.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Provide technical oversight for deep foundation and support-of-excavation scopes.
- Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met across all phases.
- Drive progress meetings, change management, procurement, and risk mitigation.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil or geotechnical construction.
- Strong understanding of deep foundations and excavation support systems.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in urban environments.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and make sound, data‑driven decisions.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
