Job Title: Regional Sales Director - Energy Sector

Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional in the energy industry to join our team as a Regional Sales Director. This individual will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and retaining key accounts in the large commercial and industrial (C/I) sector. The ideal candidate will be a strategic contributor to the sales team, helping to refine sales processes and support team success. This is a full-time position offering a base salary plus residual commission. Remote opportunities are available for candidates outside of select Northeastern U.S. states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive electricity and natural gas sales in the large C/I market
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of long-term, satisfied clients
  • Meet and exceed acquisition and retention goals
  • Represent the company professionally across various platforms and events
  • Understand client goals, including risk and sustainability needs, and offer tailored solutions
  • Maintain regular communication with sales leadership
  • Manage sales activity and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Follow internal procedures for pricing, enrollment, and documentation
  • Provide timely and confident client support
  • Advocate for client satisfaction and service excellence
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and company objectives
  • Participate in thought leadership through media, presentations, and events
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in energy sales
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience with consultative, solution-based selling
  • Detail-oriented with strong integrity and work ethic
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivated
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required for client visits

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred
  • Energy or renewable certifications are a plus
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Established client base in the energy sector
