Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Land Surveyor to support civil engineering and land development projects across the Denver region-all from the convenience of a fully remote work environment. This role is ideal for a surveying professional who values flexibility, precision, and collaboration while working on impactful infrastructure and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys remotely.
- Coordinate with field crews and review incoming survey data for accuracy and completeness.
- Process field data and prepare deliverables including plats, legal descriptions, and CAD drawings.
- Collaborate virtually with engineers, planners, and project managers to support design and permitting.
- Ensure compliance with Colorado surveying standards and applicable regulations.
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation of survey activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and other survey processing tools.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, legal boundaries, and plat preparation.
- Excellent communication and time management skills in a remote work setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Colorado PLS license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Experience with construction layout and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with CDOT standards and digital workflows.
