Position Summary:
We are seeking a Roadway Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for candidates ranging from recent graduates to mid-level professionals with experience in roadway design. Whether you're an EIT, a licensed PE, or working toward licensure, we welcome your application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of roadway plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including traffic, drainage, and structural engineers.
- Perform field investigations and support construction administration as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable design standards and client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 0-6 years of relevant experience in roadway or transportation engineering.
- EIT certification, PE license, or on track to obtain licensure (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar software.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
