Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually (based on experience and location)
A nationally recognized consulting firm is looking to grow their presence in the Pacific Northwest and are seeking a Seller/Doer to contribute to water and wastewater initiatives within its integrated water team. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys both technical leadership and client engagement, and who is passionate about delivering sustainable solutions for public and private sector water systems.
Position Overview:
This leadership role combines project delivery, client relationship management, and business development. You'll oversee engineering design, mentor junior staff, and help expand the firm's presence in the water and wastewater sector. The position offers a mix of technical work, strategic planning, and external collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
- Lead design efforts including calculations, reports, plans, and specifications.
- Provide mentorship and technical oversight to engineering staff.
- Stay current with industry regulations and emerging technologies.
- Support client retention and project acquisition efforts.
- Identify cross-sector opportunities and contribute to marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state, with ability to obtain others.
- Strong project management and client-facing experience.
- Interest in business development and team leadership.
- Familiarity with Pacific Northwest regulatory frameworks is a plus.
