Senior CAD Technician
Looking for a Senior CADD Technician in my clients Manassas office. The firm is a geospactial services firm providing in-house photogrammetry, static, mobile, and terrestrial LiDAR scanning, building information modeling, conventional survey, and subsurface utility engineering.
Role and Responsibility
Nurtures company culture by keeping in high regard its values: client-focus, safety-conscious work environment, accountability, high professional standards, and error-free timely work-product.
Drafts boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction surveys.
Assist the Project Manager with all aspects of field crew preparation.
Processes field collection files and database maintenance.
Prepares digital terrain models and contouring.
Responsible for deed, plat and document research, and title and easement review.
Prepares as-built, boundary, topographic, tree, and utility survey deliverables.
Works in the field on as-needed basis and maintains a general understanding of safe traffic procedures.
Works independently as required.
Continually advances knowledge with upgrades in technology.
Follows policies and procedures to ensure all work is done accurately and efficiently.
Completes their timesheet daily and submits it promptly for weekly review and approval.
Attends meetings in and out of the office, including Safety Meetings.
Maintains a valid driver's license.
Travels as needed.
Other tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
1-3 years of survey experience required.
High school or equivalent (minimum).
Proficiency with the use of data collection software and survey equipment (GPS, Robotics, Total Stations, Levels, and Data Collectors).
Valid driver's license.
Strong collaboration skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong computer and data collector skills.
Strong mathematical skills.
Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
