About the Role
As their Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Charlotte, you'll play a pivotal role in technical leadership, team development, and project oversight. This is a unique opportunity to grow into the Branch Manager role, guiding the strategic direction of the office while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical projects from inception to completion
- Review and oversee geotechnical reports prepared by junior engineers
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to early-career staff
- Collaborate with other offices to support regional growth and excellence
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Strong technical expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigations
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- PE license (or ability to obtain in North Carolina)
