We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a nationally recognized architecture and engineering consulting firm with over a century of experience delivering innovative, client-focused solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for new construction and renovation projects
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Perform system calculations, equipment selection, and energy modeling
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure integrated, high-performance solutions
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction administration
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quality assurance processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical design for buildings
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required
- Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and sustainable design practices
- PE license preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
