Senior Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead multiple large-scale mechanical projects within the commercial, high-rise, and multi-family residential sectors. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results through strategic planning, team leadership, and client-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all business aspects of multiple concurrent mechanical projects, ensuring financial targets and quality standards are met.
  • Supervise and mentor project managers, assistant project managers, and project engineers.
  • Directly manage field supervisors, including training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Manage budgeting, materials procurement, and production activities for assigned projects.
  • Plan and allocate resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Act as liaison between clients and project teams to address scope changes, resolve issues, and communicate progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines, and best practices.
  • Utilize document management systems for project correspondence and records.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of project management experience with a mechanical/plumbing contractor in commercial, high-rise, or multi-family construction.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret mechanical HVAC plans, including VRF/VRV, DX Split, Water Source Heat Pumps, Chilled Water systems, and ductwork.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in high-volume environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing projects remotely is a plus.
