Senior Power Systems Studies Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Systems Studies Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in conducting various power system studies using advanced software tools such as PSS/E.
Responsibilities:
- Perform load flow, power flow, short circuit, and other power system studies.
- Analyze and interpret study results to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance.
- Develop and validate models for power system simulations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience with PSS/E and other power system analysis software.
- Strong understanding of power system principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with renewable energy integration and grid modernization.
- Familiarity with other power system analysis tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, or PowerWorld.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
