Senior Project Manager Electrical Engineering
Role Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager in Electrical Engineering, you will lead the design, planning, and implementation of innovative electrical systems for building projects. You will manage projects across all HOAI service phases, ensuring technical excellence and sustainability while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead electrical engineering projects with a focus on low-voltage systems.
- Oversee planning and execution according to HOAI service phases 1-8.
Design & Planning:
- Develop innovative electrical engineering concepts for building construction.
- Prepare feasibility studies and evaluate technical systems.
- Review plans for compliance with technical requirements and quality standards.
Coordination & Leadership:
- Collaborate with architecture, façade, structural engineering, energy design, building physics, and fire protection teams.
- Coordinate project participants and executing companies.
- Provide professional guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Client Interaction:
- Deliver professional presentations and maintain strong client relationships.
- Participate in the preparation of quotations and proposals.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering planning for building projects.
- Proven track record managing medium to large-scale projects.
- Expertise in low-voltage technology and building automation.
- Strong knowledge of HOAI, AHO, VOB, and contracting regulations.
- Experience with complex technical requirements and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Fluent in German; good English skills are an advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
