Senior Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of water treatment plant construction projects in the Victorville, CA area. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in water infrastructure and a passion for delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of water treatment plant construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and local/state/federal codes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and junior staff.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager specifically in water treatment plant construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with public agencies and municipalities in California.
- Familiarity with California water quality regulations and permitting processes.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
