About the Role
This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys hands-on design work and wants to contribute to impactful building projects. The role involves structural design and analysis with a particular focus on wood framing, as well as concrete and steel for low- to mid-rise buildings. You'll work closely with internal MEP teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for wood, concrete, steel, and masonry structures
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and calculations
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams
- Conduct site visits and provide construction support as needed
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with strong wood framing expertise
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS)
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices
- PE license preferred or in progress
