Senior Trenchless Engineer - Remote
Position: Associate Trenchless Engineer
Location: USA (Remote)
Salary Range: $110,267 - $199,935
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote with Flexible Options
Working with my client, we're hiring an experienced Associate Trenchless Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering complex underground infrastructure projects across the U.S. This is a remote-first role for someone who knows their stuff and isn't afraid to lead from the front-whether it's in design, business development, or mentoring junior engineers.
If you've got trenchless expertise and a knack for navigating both technical challenges and client relationships, this is your lane. We're looking for someone who can spot the snakes in the grass and still keep the project moving forward.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading trenchless project planning and design
- Driving business development and building client trust
- Preparing technical reports, drawings, specs, and contract documents
- Managing project tasks and mentoring junior engineers
- Reviewing contractor submittals and handling RFIs
- Balancing office-based work with occasional field assignments
- Ensuring quality standards are met and exceeded
What You'll Bring
- BS in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering (MS preferred)
- PE license in one or more of: MA, RI, NJ, NY, DE, MD, VA, NC, DC
- Proven experience leading trenchless design projects
- Willingness to travel for field assignments
- Bonus points for trenchless rehab and field experience
- Strong multitasking and leadership skills
- Clear, confident technical communication
