Solar Asset Manager, Performance Analysis

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze weather data and site-specific performance metrics to ensure optimal solar farm operations.
- Lead SCADA system implementation and troubleshooting for new sites.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to monitor and enhance energy production efficiency.
- Collaborate with O&M providers to investigate and resolve system faults.
- Maintain and manage internal databases, data flows, and performance revenue budgets.
- Prepare detailed reports and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Recommend and implement strategies for performance optimization.
- Conduct and analyze thermal drone surveys on operational assets.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years working for solar/renewable energy projects in Japan for similar roles
- Education: Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Languages: business fluent English and Japanese
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel VBA, or equivalent
- Strong Excel capabilities
- Experience with CAD and PVsyst (optional)
- Other:
- Valid driver's license for Japan
- Strong analytical and communication skills
