Position Overview
A nationally recognized structural engineering firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join its Dallas office. This individual will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex building projects across a wide range of sectors, including mission critical, manufacturing, life sciences, commercial, and institutional.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving structural challenges through innovative design.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings using concrete, steel, timber, and hybrid systems.
- Prepare construction documents and coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors.
- Utilize advanced modeling and detailing tools such as Revit, ETABS, RAM, Tekla, and SAP2000.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards while optimizing structural systems for performance and efficiency.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to client communications.
- Support junior engineers and collaborate with senior staff on technical development initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- PE license preferred or in progress
- 4-10 years of experience in structural design
- Proficiency in structural analysis and BIM tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
